Project Reach is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization based in Lebanon, Tennessee, focused on meeting both the tangible and spiritual needs of the unhoused and underserved. Founded on the truth of Proverbs 28:27 – “Whoever gives to the poor will not want...”, our mission is to empower the Body of Christ to actively engage in compassion-driven outreach that reflects the heart of Jesus.

We believe that the local church is God's primary instrument for change in the world—and that every believer should be equipped to serve their neighbor with boldness, compassion, and practical resources. That’s where our Reach Bags come in.

What Is a Reach Bag?

A Reach Bag is a carefully curated care package that includes:

• Hygiene products and toiletries

• Non-perishable snacks and bottled water

• A physical Bible or Scripture-based resource

These bags are designed to be portable and practical—easy to store in a car or church lobby—so that believers are always ready to respond to someone in need. The beauty of the Reach Bag is not just in what it contains, but in what it represents: hope, dignity, and the Gospel in action.

We provide these bags free of charge to partnering churches, ministries, and outreach teams.

How We Serve

At Project Reach, we operate at both the individual and organizational level:

• We equip churches with monthly Reach Bags so their members can serve their local communities on a daily basis.

• We mobilize volunteers to help assemble and distribute bags, engage in one-on-one outreach, and pray for those we serve.

• We collaborate with ministries and service providers to connect individuals to long-term resources—such as housing, job training, mental health services, and discipleship.

• We foster unity in the Body of Christ by creating a shared mission where churches from different backgrounds can come together in service and love.

Why It Matters

Many Christians want to help but don’t know how. Our model takes away the guesswork and makes evangelism and compassion simple and approachable. No long training sessions, no outreach events required—just a bag, a willing heart, and the power of the Gospel.

Our vision is to see churches across the nation—and one day, the world—become places where outreach is no longer the exception, but the norm. We believe that when we empower the Church to care for “the least of these,” we participate directly in the ministry of Jesus.
